I get this question asked almost everyday.  How long will a hot tub last?  

It really depends.  I have been selling hot tubs for a little over 20 years and some of the very first ones I have sold are still out there on the market.   I just had a customer come in the other day that needed a replacement cover for his 1982 Hot Spring Spa.   This doesn’t happen  very often but we do see it from time to time.

Reality is a hot tub will last 10-15 years.  As with anything how you take care of your tub definitely does affect the life expectancy.  Good water chemistry is super important to get the most life and regular maintenance like changing your filters and covers will also help your hot tub last longer.
